1. About VekstLab
VekstLab ("Vekst" is Norwegian for "growth") is a personal side project. It was created, designed, developed and is maintained solely by Alejandro Maldonado (alhimself.com). It is provided as a hobby and learning project, with no intention to profit and no affiliation with any broker, exchange, or financial institution.
2. The service is free
Everything in VekstLab is provided completely free of charge. There are no subscriptions, fees, paywalls, or in-app purchases. Because the project is non-commercial and offered at no cost, it is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis and may change, pause, or shut down at any time without notice.
3. Market data is not real-time
The market and company information shown in VekstLab is not synchronized with the market in real time. Prices, fundamentals, news, and other figures may be delayed, incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, and are sourced from third parties. Do not rely on this information for time-sensitive or trading decisions. Always confirm figures with an official, real-time source before acting.
4. Not financial advice
VekstLab is an informational and educational tool only. Nothing in it — including screeners, analytics, optimizations, simulations, scores, or any other output — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. All investment decisions are your own, and you should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making them. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. VekstLab does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alejandro Maldonado shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses or damages — including financial losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, VekstLab or from reliance on any information it provides.
7. Your account and data
To use certain features you create an account with your name and email address, and you may save a watchlist, holdings, and preferences. This data is stored only to provide the service to you; it is not sold. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You may stop using the service at any time; contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, scrape or overload it, reverse-engineer it for harm, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual property
All code, design, and content of VekstLab were written, conceived, and are maintained by Alejandro Maldonado. Third-party data and libraries remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
